GETSET, Spencer Lodge

03/05/2016 - 9:00am - 3:00pm

Guiding Exploring Technology – Scouting Exploring Technology (GETSET) 2015 is aimed at 10-to-18 year old registered youth members. That makes it a great linking activity for senior Cubs to go with the Scouts in the same Group, for example, or an excellent opportunity for Guides and Pathfinders to have a combined activity. Leaders/parents must accompany youth members.

The London Chapter of OACETT invites you to spend an exciting day at London Scout HQ, 531 Windermere Road. Members of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) will host “hands-on” displays for youth members to explore technology. The London Chapter of The Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) will help you test the load limit of your Popsicle Stick Bridge with the Incredible Crusher.

Location

Spencer Lodge, 531 Windermere Road, London, Ontario, N5X 2T1

For more information or to register your group, contact Vince Le Faive, C.E.T., CBET(c) in London at vince.lefaive@live.com or leave a voice message at (519) 857-6498. Space is limited so apply early to avoid disappointment.
